The latest firmware updates for both the PSP and PS3 now allow PSone games to be playable on the PSP through the PS3's Remote Play option. Though we haven't confirmed this ourselves yet, sources say the PS3 2.10 firmware update and PSP 3.80 update allow gamers to play PSone discs like Grand Theft Auto and Metal Gear Solid: VT Missions (though at a notably slower speed). Access to the PSone game is made through the Wi-Fi feature, so PSone gaming via the PS3 should now be possible while at any hotspot.
