Sony Japan announced on Sunday that it will make Skype available to users of the PSP Slim (PSP-2000 series). Adding Skype to the PSP will give owners the ability to make free calls between Skype users (requiring a compatible microphone), and all of the other goodies that Skype users have access to.
Skype will be added to the PSP via a software update in January, after which the Skype icon will appear in the Network category of the crossbar menu. From there, users will be able to sign up or sign in with their existing accounts.
